Taking Shape!

New Farmhouse

Farmhouse Front

The top picture is from the southeast corner of the home and looks towards the Sunroom. In order to give the Sunroom room an authentic look to the home’s farmhouse style, the windows and siding are going to be different than the rest of the house. On older farmhouses, additions to the existing house were commonly made years  after the original structure and with different materials. So, for this new home the Sunroom features a different grill pattern in the windows and will have board and batten siding on the exterior to make it look as if it was an addition to the original structure. The home owner wanted to include these kinds of details to bring old time character into a new home!
